Our Story
Dr. Araceli Bonilla opened Shard Dental after years in offices where the monitor faced the dentist and the patient stared at the ceiling. She wanted the reverse: a screen you can read from the chair, and a dentist who says what each tool is for before using it.
Today three dentists see adults and families on North Wells Street. We use digital X-rays, an intraoral camera and a scanner because they let us show you what we see, not because they are new. What each one means for your care is for your dentist to explain, and for you to ask about.

Some crowns are made from a digital scan. Your dentist tells you how many visits yours will take.
